Director’s Statement

Drawn to narratives that delve into the complexities of human internal struggles, I find intrigue both in their dramatic depths and comical reliefs. I'm also deeply engrossed in the presentation of characters and circumstances that defy the established societal norms and expectations.

To me, choosing the right collaborators is an essential step in the filmmaking journey. Every component - from scriptwriting, directing, and acting to cinematography, editing, music, and sound design - is a cog in the wheel, driving my directorial vision forward. Actors and fellow artists not only embody but elevate this vision, contributing to my growth both personally and professionally.

Federico Fellini and Krzysztof Kieslowski were my initial inspirations. Their narrative choices, distinct characters, and overall aesthetics, including their visual styles, editing techniques, and music selection, left a profound impact. Over time, my admiration expanded to include the works of Francis Ford Coppola, Alfred Hitchcock, Robert Altman, Stanley Kubrick, and David Lynch.

My goal is to create cerebral cinema with a unique visual flair. I aspire to narrate my stories in a way that challenges and engages the audience on an intellectual, emotional, and visual level.
